COVID-19 – LEVEL 3 UPDATE

Due to the recent update that New Zealand is moving to Alert Level 3 on Tuesday 28th April, we will be opening for business. We will be following strict government guidelines which will be explained below.

Whist it is great to be able to open for business and service our customers, we must ensure strict protocol and procedures are followed to ensure the safety of both customers and staff.

We will be operating in accordance to the government guidelines below until instructed otherwise.

1)      We will be going contact-less. This means:

  1. No contact between Whangaparaoa Autocentre staff and customers with 2m distancing at all times.
  2. All bookings to be made via phone or email. All customers will be asked a small number of questions prior to bookings to ensure they have not come in contact with the virus. Once satisfied, vehicle bookings will be confirmed.
  3. The office will be closed and locked. There will be no ability to wait for your vehicle inside the premises.
  4. All payments to be made via online banking before collection of vehicles.
  5. Vehicle to be dropped off in the carpark with the keys left inside the vehicle.
  6. Pick up of the vehicle will be made from the carpark with the keys left inside the vehicle.

2)      All vehicles to be clean from the inside prior to drop off.

3)      What we will do to ensure the safety of our customers and staff:

  1. Staff to regularly sanitise/wash hands.
  2. Disposable gloves to be used when coming in contact with a customer’s vehicle. Disposable gloves to be replaced in between vehicles.
  3. Disposable seat covers to be used on all vehicles.
  4. Adhering to the standard Covid-19 health and safety protocol.

 

Whilst we apologise for any inconveniences caused, we appreciate your co-operation to adhere to the temporary health and safety measures put in place to keep everyone safe.
